Black: Black plastic with no coating - All function, no frills.
All Other Colors: Cerakote (TM) treatment provides the color. It is an exceptionally durable and vibrant finish. It resists stains, scratches and fading very well. With heavy use, it will wear. As the Cerakote wears off, it will reveal the dark grey plastic underneath. If you're rough on your keys, expect to see this patina over time.
